As you know, the display time for each PPT can be set in Articulate Presenter settings and it works perfectly well until I met one certain PPT in 2003 version. It seems that the display time cannot be changed no matter what time interval I set. And I even merged all the slides of this PPT to another one and what's weird was that the slides in the other PPT worked well according to the time interval I set but the slides from this particular one still couldn't display according to the setting time interval.
I really cannot find out the reason that causes the display failure as there seems to be no difference between this PPT and others.
You mentioned the PowerPoint file you're pulling into the presentation is from the 2003 version. Are the other files from 2003 as well, or is this being carried into a more recent version like 2010? If you're pulling a 2003 PPT file into a later version, you may need to convert it to 2010.
If, however, you're using 2003 for this file and all others, can you tell me what type of content is in the presentation? Are you able to create a new, blank presentation and import the content into it? If so, do you see the same issue with the timing?
