Captivate player controls not showing up

Hi,
I'm using Captivate 3 and am embedding Captivate output (.swf and accompanying files) into Articulate Presenter as a Flash movie. I'm configuring the movie to open in a separate window.
I've done this many times before and have always seen the Captivate player controls at the bottom of the new window. But this time, for some reason, I don't see the player controls, although I verified that my skin has the (default) player controls. The player controls don't appear in IE or Firefox.
Any idea what might be going wrong?
I know I have the option of inserting Captivate output as a web object as well, but that doesn't help (and involves more post-publication tasks).

I now remember I'm supposed to link to the skin file rather than the swf file, and the player controls are now showing up again. I'm having playback problems, though. If I can't figure it out, I'll post a new thread.
