Content won't come off the learning plan in LMS

Oct 03, 2016

I have a content object published from Articulate Presenter 13 with 2 quizzes in the body and one 'confirm' quiz at the end.  It works correctly in Preview but when published, the item will not come off the learning plan even though it is completed correctly.

Hi Vicki,

So it's not being set to complete or passed and that's how it's still on the learning plan? What did you use as your passing/completion and tracking method? Is there anything different about this content/course than others you have published? You could look at troubleshooting it by hosting it at SCORM Cloud which is an industry standard for LMS testing to see how it behaves there.

I did set the content to pass/fail, which is the way we've set up all of our other 50+ objects. I looked at uploading my file to SCORM Cloud, but it looks like there is a cost. Is that correct?

Hi Vicki! You can create a free SCORM Cloud account  here, just select the top option labeled The Trial. There's no time limit to the trial account, just lower storage and registration limits. I have a free account myself, it usually holds up to five courses at a time. You can then delete older ones to make room for new ones you wish to test out. Incredibly handy for testing purposes! :)

I also wanted to let you know that when you respond via email, the comment will include your signature. You're welcome to pop in and edit that info out, if desired.
