Crashing during Publish with New Slide Creation

Aug 04, 2012

Occasionally, Powerpoint is crashing during publishing. I restart Parallels and then it seems to be OK.

However I am noticing that an additional blank slide is being created when it crashes... is there a virus?

Anyone experience this?

Thank you

correction: I have to restart my entire computer to get it to publish again.... not just parallels.

Correction again: I am now getting the error after a fresh restart of everything!

This is the message:

AppName: ap6.exe AppVer: 6.0.0.714 ModName: as32artcore.dll

ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 001a1ee3

Please help --- last module!

Ok, I tried reinstalling with update 8 -- as described here: http://www.articulate.com/forums/articulate-presenter/4273-hangs-publish-user-accounts-control-work-round.html

I was able to publish the test presentation just fine -- however module stops after about slide 40 or so, our of 81.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Hi Eye- D,

If you're publishing and the publishing wizard becomes unresponsive, please review the following article which outlines suggestions to resolve your issue:

If you have Avast antivirus installed, the publishing process may not complete. For more details on this issue, please see:
