Frame rate option missing in publishing for Presenter 13

Oct 21, 2013

I am testing out Presenter 13 and can't find the frame rate option amongst the publishing toolbar. In '09 if any slide audio was above 8:30 (or there about) you had to switch the frame rate from 30 to 15 in order to prevent the slide from freezing.

Has this error been fixed in '13, meaning the option isn't needed or is it simply not available?

Hi Rachel,

Studio 13 still publishes at a rate of 30 frames per second. The timing your mentioning is still existent in Presenter 13 as well, for example Flash has a maximum number of frames: 16,000, at 30 frames per second, that translates to 8 minutes 53 seconds per slide although I haven't seen a way to change the frame rate while publishing.

Is there a plan to add this in an upcoming release?  While not currently an impact this will impact me in the near future.

Hi Ron,

I'm not aware of any plans to add that functionality. However, if you'd like to see this added in an update or a future release, I would recommend sending your request directly to our development team

Please be sure to be as detailed as possible. The more information we have, the more we're able to gauge the usefulness and demand for the feature.

Thanks and have a great day, Ron!
