Help Needed with Hyperlinks

I am currently creating an interactive e-learning course I have aded hyperlinks to websites to my course and when published to web and I clickon them they work fine on my PC but when I send the zipped (web) published file to other users and they click on the hyperlinks nothing happens and they do not open.

Please could somebody help

Hi Scott,

If you or your user are viewing the published content on their local drive they may encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail. You'll want to test the published output within the intended environment, so loading it up to the website where you users will access it - or if you don't want it to be "live" yet, you could use  one of the options described here:

  • Amazon S3: Amazon S3 offers free hosting with generous usage limits. If you go over your limit, you'll be charged a graduated fee.
  • Dropbox: Place your published output in the Public folder in your Dropbox account to share it with others.
  • Google Drive: Change the player.html file to index.html, and set the sharing permissions to PublicHere's how.
