Hyperlinks Don't Appear in Published Presentation

Hi,

I have a branched scenario utilizing transparent shapes with the hyperlink to either the next slide or the one after. It works fine in Powerpoint. But when I publish it the hyperlinks don't appear; the cursor does not become a hand.

I'm using Powerpoint 2007 on an iMac with Parallels. The presentation was originally created in Powerpoint 2008 for Mac. It was, to the best of my ability, carefully reviewed when brought into Powerpoint 2007.

Can anyone help me figure out why the hyperlinks aren't appearing? And, of course, how to remedy it?
