Images duplicating on every slide when I publish

Apr 29, 2013

Good afternoon,

When I publish my presentation, a random image (which I used in my presentation) will duplicate on all of the slides at the far left bottom.

No matter what I do, I cannot prevent this from happening; I delete the duplicated images from the ppt slides, save, and re-sync animations, and then republish; I cannot get this to stop.

Any help would be much apprecited!

Welcome to the community, JJ

Is the image part of your Slide Master, by any chance? If not, you'll also want to be sure you're following some basic rules to prevent strange behavior:

  • Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
  • You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
  • Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.

If you're still seeing the issue, we'd be happy to take a closer look at it. Can you please go ahead and open a ticket with our support team, including the .story file, so we can take a look at what's going on?

Thanks!
