Problem with publishing Articulate Presentations

Feb 27, 2013

Hello everyone, I have a problem using Articulate Presenter 09.

I have recently installed Windows 8 OS and I cannot publish my presentations any more.

I was trying to publish a presentation that was previously published successfully on Win 7, but now when am trying to publish Articulate always freezes at Slide 3. I cannot do anything than to end the process. This happens to other presentations as well

The only solution I found is that I am exporting all the slides as JPEG images, I am exporting the recordings, then I import the images as slides in the Power Point and import the sound one by one.

I hope that there is a solution because my solutions take a LOT of time.

Hi Christos. Welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with this. Just curious, though, if you create a new presentation, are you able to publish? Or does this only happen with the presentations that were created previously?

For one presentation you mentioned that the publishing process freezes on a specific slide (3). What type of content is on this slide? Do the other presentations freeze on slides that contain similar content, or is it random?

Also, you may want to make sure you're working with local files:

1.  Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.

2. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).

3.  Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.
