Inserting video from website issue

When trying to add Youtube videos into my presenter file, it comes up with the following error...

A video cannot be inserted from this embed code. Verify that the embed code is correct and then try again.

The embed code is exact from the site - whether it's the new one or old one doesn't matter, it just comes up with the same error code. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks for sharing your Embed Code, Alan.

I'm not sure if you are using Presenter '13 or Presenter '09, but your Embed Code worked OK for me in both versions:

  • In Presenter '13, I used this method. The resulting Presenter Package is here, and the published output is here.
  • In Presenter '09, I used this method (which required me to modify your Embed Code slightly). The resulting Presenter Package is here, and the published output is here.

I have dealt with the exact same problem for months. I have followed Justin's instructions to the tee and still getting the same message "A video cannot be inserted from this embed code. Verify that the embed code is correct and then try again."

This to me sounds like a support/software issue... is there may be a patch or anything else to fix the program?
