Link to Attachment Tab
Jun 12, 2014
Hello,
I am trying to see if there is a way to have a link in my PPT that will open the resource/attachment tab? Is that possible? I know with STORYLINE I can do it. I have a few documents in my PPT where it discusses them in multiple areas of the PPT. So I just want to see if we state "Click Here" to view it, can it be opened directly from the attachment tab or can the tab be opened right away?
Thanks.

Hi Britannia,
It sounds like you may be using Presenter '09 from your description. Is that right?
If so, this article should help you with linking to an attachment in your presentation:

If this isn't what you're wanting to accomplish, or you have any questions, please let us know.

This is what I want to do but it is not working. In my download files the pdf is not there. So I am not sure how to download my pdf when all I am doing is adding an attachment. When I publish it to the web it doesn’t download these files in my download folder.
That is what the screen cast is saying to do.
When I follow the step by step directions I put the title in there and it still doesn't link the PDF.
Hi Britannia!
Did you add this to your Attachments first? Check out this article on how to do so.
Thank you for your feed back and I apologize for not replying. But I was more so referring to a hyperlink that someone can click on and that will open the attachments tab document. Is there a way to do that with out requiring the person to go to the attachment tab?
I found the link for it. Nevermind! Thanks.
Glad to hear it Britannia Thanks for the update!
