Hi
How do I get the my articulate presenter file to resume in moodle? I have set it under templates to resume and ignore flash cookies. When in moodle however it does not prompt a resume or attempt to resume. Am I missing some settings.
Also I am using a custom skin so are there any settings in the playerporperties.xml that I am missing, I have not created an articulate package yet for my skin as it is still under development and I am simply replacing the playerproperties.xml, ast_remote.swf and player.swf on publish
hope someone can help

Hi Phil,
Can you replicate the issue if you publish your presentation with the Corporate Communications template and then upload it to Moodle?
Thanks for the speedy reply, will have to get back to you on that one, it is a large file (142 slides) and I need to sort out a few things before publishing again

Hi Brian
I have published with the corporate communications template and it all works ok including the quizes from a previous post.
If I am using a custom player, I thought all SCORM activity still worked OK, as the player is built on top of the articulate player
Is there a setting in the playerproperties.xml I need to change
Any help here is appreciated
Phil
I Have been through the xml and there is afield usesuspenddata which is set to false, would that just need to be true?
Phil
Hi Phil,
Since you're using a custom skin, please post your question in the SDK forums.
Hi Brian
Thanks, I have fixed this by installing the skin correctly into articulate

Hey Phil and Brian,
In an effort to diag 2 clients problems with the resume feature.....did any other issues come up that you can share that may have caused this?
Cheers,
Dave
Hi Dave
I was manually installing a custom skin, when I produced an arpkg package to instal the skin everything worked, I think my player properties xml was not set to resume, by installing the skin into articulate, the xml was written correctly and everything worked ok
the only other times I have had issues, were using scorm 1.2 on a large presentation in moodle and before I installed the articulate fix for moodle anad the courses were set as incomplete/suspeneded

Hey Phil,
I remember this from before but can't find the info....do you have a link to the thread you can grab from the threads in your profile?
Thanks for the help!
Cheers Mate,
Dave
try this one http://www.articulate.com/support/presenter09/kb/?p=1022
Phil
That's the one.....
Now I need to figure out how I'm going to swap out 8 modules and not screw up the quiz scores already logged as well as messing up where people have left off in their modules.
That may be another post!
Cheers for everything!

Hi Dave
you can just replace that file in moodle for each course no need to republish, moodle actually unzips the scorm package, you just need to find the right one and change the file, no need to republish and upload again

Hey Phil,
In looking at this solution, I remember having a problem in figuring out how to properly implement this. Do you have a source on where to get a ;'Sun Readers' version on how to do this....as the instructions in the KB seem more a 'Times' version....it may also be that I',m getting tired and can't concentrate.....
Anyway...next time we meet, I own you a pint or ten for all of the assistance! You're a star...
Cheers,
Dave
Can anybody dip in on this one and lend a hand?
Thanks in advance for the help!
Cheers,
Dave
Hi Phil and Brian,
I devloped articulate course using custom skin. Currently there are two resume windows appear in my course one is my custom and other is articulate bydefault resume window.
Let me know if any solution to hide articulate resume window in custom skin player.
Regards,
Padmavati
Not sure why you would build a custom resume window, I would just switch off the one you developed
