Menu numbering and leveling

Jan 22, 2014

In the latest addition of presenter the menu numbering has changed. If you level menu items say under slide 13, instead of it being slide 14 and 15 under that menu item, it is now 13.1 and 13.2.

This is an internal reviewing nightmare. If someone references a slide as 13.2.4 for example, as the course developer I have no idea what actual slide that content is on. It could be slide 16 or it could be slide 24. There really is no way to tell besides having to open the presentation and checking the menu and seeing what is actually on the screen.

Is there a way in the menu to keep the slide number intact and not go to a 13.1, 13.2 system? When people are reviewing, I need menu item 13, to be slide 13. This is how the menu worked in presenter '09.

Another way we were able to track feedback was in the progress bar. It told you what slide you were on, Slide 4 of 20 and also had the narration track time for that slide. Is there a way to get this back?? I really liked this feature.

Hope this all makes sense. Let me know if I need to clarify.

Thanks, Sara
