Narration freezes up while recording

I've not yet read a concern exactly like mine -- in every single presentation I have, the narration function will freeze up and won't close until I re-boot the computer. This has increased in frequency and now will happen regularly. UGH! Message I'm getting is "This action cannot be completed becasue the other application is busy. Choose 'Switch To' to activate the busy application and correct the problem." The buttons to select are "Switch To", "Retry" and "Cancel". The first two do nothing -- the third is not funtional. What on earth is going on? BTW: sometimes the Audio Editor won't work either -- freezes up, too.

Are you working locally?
If you are having issues across multiple presentations, I would advise that you conduct a repair of your software to resolve your issue.
I'm having the same issue here. I followed the instructions and downloaded everything again, but still ran into the same error message. As opposed to the OP, I'm not actually having problems with it crashing, but it does create some delays and concerns on my part.
Any other suggestions for what may be happening?
Hi Chris- Thanks for reaching out here- sorry this is happening! First, could you verify that you meet all of the minimum system requirements for Presenter '13? If so, I would recommend running through these steps for your OS version to fix this erratic behavior.
