I add a hyperlink such as ../abc.php in one slide of a presentation. I save it. Next time I open PowerPoint the link is ..\abc.php . If don't change it back to / and publish it, the link will not work.

It is a Powerpoint error from what I understand, and you should still be able to follow the suggestions that Ali shared above. Have you tried to save as an older file type?

Yes, I know it has been a long ago problem. I am using Presenter 13 (converting from 09) but I am still using PowerPoint 07.
