PPTA file is still not upodating

Mar 07, 2011

This is a follow up from my 2/9 post in the other forum.  Once again, I am in a crunch and this PPTA files is NOT updating. I'm so afraid that some of my coure project files are not being included in my recernt publish.  Why is this keep happening periodically and how do I resolve it??  Last time you ask me to test it by creating a sample ppt and add Art feature.  I did that today and yes, it created the PPTA, But that is still not resolving my current issue with my course for my client that is due now!  What is causing it not to update when I make a change to attachments and quizzes and ppt slides today? it still has 3/6/2011 9:31pm date modified, when it should have 3/7/2011  3:30pm date modified.  Do any other users have this same issue?

Hi talex,

The PPTA file timestamp should be updated in your project. Can you verify that you're looking at the "date modified" and not the "date created" section?

Also, can you create a completely new presentation, add an Articulate item to it & then exit PowerPoint? After, check to see if the timestamp is updated on that new file. Let me know the result of the test.

Hi Terri,

I would suggest you submit a case by following the steps below.

Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:

Send to Articulate Presenter Package – Articulate Presenter ’09 Help

Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:

Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09 which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so we can follow up with you in the forums.
