Presenter 13 - iPad Viewing Issues
May 28, 2014
Hi Everyone - I am curious to see if anyone has had luck with developing/publishing Presenter 13 content for viewing on an iPad (via HTML5). I have tried many different settings, a few different LMS' (including Articulate Online), multiple presentations both big and small, etc. In addition, I have tested HTML5 content viewing on different generations of iPads. What I have found is the viewing experience is very poor. The common issues are timing of audio, the hour glass spiral staying in the middle of the screen, animation timing is off, audio is inconsistent, logo not showing up in the player, etc. The list is pretty big. I have researched a lot of posts in the community and have not found much promising information about Presenter 13 and HTML5 on an iPad. Please note, for a number of reasons, I am trying to avoid using the iPad Articulate Player app.
Also, does anyone know if Captivate 8, iSpring, or Lectora has similar HTML5 iPad viewing issues as Presenter 13? I am trying to find a viable rapid eLearning software solution that allows consistent viewing on an iPad. It is hard for me to believe that I am asking about other software solutions given that I have been a loyal Articulate user since 2005.
Thanks, Brent

Hi Brent!
It looks like you are seeking community input on this one, but I was curious if you were utilizing Update 2? There were many additions and improvements related to HTML5 in this release.
Hi Leslie - Thanks for checking in. I am using Update 2. Per your note, I have really seeking advice from anyone. I have been working pretty hard to get AP to work on an iPad and have not had any luck.
