I have embedded closed captioned YouTube videos as web objects (CC necessary for deaf/HOH employees). After publishing, I preview the project and the videos play as expected. But when I upload the project to ScormCloud & my LMS, the video area is blank and there is a message at the bottom saying "Only Secure Content is Displayed". When you click the "Show all content" button on the message you get booted out of the course and back to the course launch screen. How can I resolve this issue?
For the YouTube videos you've embedded, are they HTTP or HTTPS? It sounds like your browser may be blocking non-secure content (HTTP) and that could explain that pop-up!
What browser are you using to test these courses? If you're able to share a link to the course here I'm happy to test in a few supported browsers for Studio '13. You could also connect with your IT team to see if they had any ideas on why the content isn't displaying.
Ashley, the URL was HTTPS. I was using Internet Explorer, which is the default browser in our organization.
I resolved the problem with a work-around. I downloaded the video & SRT (closed caption) files locally. Then I used HandBrake to "burn" the closed captions onto the video files. I then added those files to the course. The only downside is the CC displays for all learners because it is now part of the video image.

Hi Karen,
That's a smart workaround! Thanks for letting us know how you solved it.
If you'd like our team to take a second look at the YouTube videos, feel free to send us your file and those details in a case anytime.
