Presenter 360 will not load in PPT.

I have the trial version (as I want to be sure before we purchase) but when I launch PPT I get the first error:

Sorry, for some reason PowerPoint couldn't load the C:\Program Files(x86\Articulate\360\Studio\articulate.ppam add-in.

and when I click on the Articulate menu I get a second error:

I assume it has to so with it not being a64 bit app?

Any advice on a fix is much appreciated.

Hi Harold and welcome to E-Learning Heroes 😊

This can happen when PowerPoint is configured to show interface errors. Here's how to fix it:

  1. Click OK to All to close the error message.
  2. Go to the File tab on the ribbon and click Options.
  3. Select the Advanced tab on the left side of the window that opens.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the Advanced options and uncheck the box to Show add-in user interface errors. 
  5. Click OK to close PowerPoint Options, then restart PowerPoint.
