Articulate Presenter Ribbon not working

I recently upgraded to Articulate 360. I am using MS 2016, Windows 7 and DO have Service Pack 1. The Articulate ribbon shows up in PPT, but the add-ins won't load. I've tried everything--- adding them manually under Options- Add-ins... but they don't "stick." I get several error messages:
"Sorry, for some reason, PPT couldn't load the C:\Program Files(x86)\Articulate\Presenter\articulate.ppa add-in." ex.
The buttons on the ribbon that appear don't work, and it doesn't allow me to normally close PPT. Instead, it says "PPT has stopped responding"- it spins for a few seconds, and then forces a shut-down.
I've tried uninstalling Articulate 360 and re-installing it multiple times with no success. Any ideas for me? Thanks.
