Presenter - Audible Mouse Click Sound Effect

Jan 19, 2016

I am working in Presenter '13 and have hyperlinks from each slide to the next.  On two random slides the published file has a mouse click sound effect. I record and edit my audio outside the Articulate software and the sound is not in the audio file.  Can someone advise how to remove it?  I know it has got to be a simple task but I cannot figure it out.

Hi, Elizabeth -- Thanks for reaching out with your question! Would it be possible for you to share your Articulate Package so I can get a better idea of the behavior you are describing? I know with our Storyline product, all you need to do is the following to Disable Mouse-Click Sounds but I'd like to take a look at your file if possible.

Hi, Elizabeth -- My sincere apologies for the delay in response, and as I continue to experience issues with uploading you content to the SCORM Cloud for testing, I want to pass your case to our Support Engineers for further review. Your patience is greatly appreciated, and I will submit a case on your behalf momentarily. You will be hearing from a member of that staff via the email address we have on file for you shortly, and I plan to share relevant updates here in the thread for others who may be following along.

UPDATE on Elizabeth's case as of 1/25/16 as shared by our Support Engineer:

"About the cause of the audio issue, unfortunately, It's difficult to find the cause of the issue, as the audio is already combined with the original audio in the slide. We recommend reviewing the article below, which contains helpful tips for avoiding unexpected behavior when creating, sharing, and publishing Articulate Presenter projects:
