Presenter sending a AICC "Lesson_Status=F" on launch

Dec 17, 2012

Hello all,

Whe have been working with our LMS vendor (TED's) over the past few week trying to figuer out why our courses are not coming off the students to do list. Teds sent us a log file from one of our courses as you can see below it passed in the F param at 5 seconds into the course then again at 10 min. Then at 21 min. and 23 min. the P param is finally sent alnong with the ExitAU command

Why would this be happening?

Hi Bobby!

I apologize for the delay, quite a few of us have been off for vacation.

Would you mind testing your course in SCORM Cloud, if you haven't already, to help us determine if the issue is Articulate related or if it's on your LMS's side? If it appears in SCORM Cloud as well, we'd be happy to take a closer look at what might be going on. The articles here and here may also help clear up common LMS issues.

To test AICC content at SCORM Cloud, you'll need to modify the Filename(URL) field when you publish your Articulate content, and upload the published output to an external server. Here's how:

Hi Christine, Thanks for responding. So I uploaded the course to SCORM CLOUD. Now please tell me if what I am seeing is correct.

Under "Recent Courses" I see my course I just uploaded. I then click on it and I end up in the Library SCORM Test Track Sandbox. I then click on launch and the course launches just fine ... After I finish I click Exit and Exit Now.

I then end up back at scorm cloud sandbox with statuses of Complete/Passed and a score of 80%

So this telles me my course is reporting correctly -- Correct?

Hi Bobby!

Thanks for getting back to me.  Correct, it looks like the course is fine and reporting properly. Looks like it may be something's going on with your LMS. I honestly haven't heard of TED's, before. If you haven't already, you may want to try contacting them to see if they've heard of any similar reports and if so, any suggestions to fix the issue.

Let me know what you find out.

Thanks!
