Publish to CD files
Aug 01, 2014
If I publish to CD, I notice that all the files I see with Publish to Web appear along with the .exe file. Do all these files cover the same options when publishing to web (HTML5 output, iPad mobile player support)? In other words, if I want to publish for both web and local, do I have to publish twice or can I just publish to CD?
I'm investigating this to get around the issue of web objects/hyperlinks giving a warning when trying to view locally in some browsers.

you would need to publish twice, there is a workaround, publish once to CD and remove the exe file and autorun (.nf) files. No you can publish any course to web and just drop these files into the package after publishing.
That's very good to know! What about the loader.ini file, which seems to be unique to Publish to CD?

Just verified: loader.ini has to be copied over as well to have .exe work in a Publish to Web. Otherwise, you get a "Navigation to web page was canceled" error when you run the .exe.

You probably need that as well, I only ever did this with presenter files never had the need since.
Good to know
