Published Course will not play audio every other slide

Apr 15, 2013

Hi everyone! I have a problem that has me stumped. I have created a course that initially published fine, I went back to make some edits and I got the dreaded OLD file. I archived the new one and reattached the old one, however in the process I lost all of my audio. So I re-recorded it, but then when I published the file every other slide is silent. So I did all of the usual stuff, restarted my pc, re-recorded the audio for those slides, uninstalled and reinstalled Articulate, then I just created a brand new PowerPoint using the reuse slide, re-imported all of the engage, quiz, and video files and imported all of my saved audio... and it STILL happened. I can see the audio in the audio editor and it's there when I preview but when I publish... it's gone. HAs anyone encountered this and if so how do I fix it? Thanks!

Shoot, really sorry for the trouble you're running into, Nichole.

Are you able to send us your project files so we can take a close look at what's going on? First, create an Articulate Presenter Package of your presentation as described here. Then upload the resulting zip file from your computer on the second page of this form, and we''ll attempt to diagnose what's happening when we receive your upload. Thanks!

I am having a similar issue. It is not exactly every other slide, but plays random audio in the presentation. It plays just fine in Preview. Funny thing... If you click the back button the audio will play, so the audio is there.

I have updated to the latest version, and this is the first original presentation I have created since that update. Thanks for the help. Clare

Hi Clare, welcome to the community!

I'd recommend sending us your project files as well. It'll help us understand exactly what's happening and we'll be able to help troubleshoot.
