Published slides are distorted

Jun 05, 2013

Hi- I use PowerPoint 2010 32 bit.  After publishing to Articulate, I notice some of the slides are completely distorted/differ in format from the original PowerPoint slides.  Please advise - Thanks!

Welcome to the community, Lorne

It's possible you're experiencing a DPI issue. Presenter is only supported with a system DPI setting of 96. If you're using a DPI setting other than 96, you'll encounter erratic behavior in the desktop applications and the published output. The following list provides some examples of unexpected behavior that you may encounter:

*  Elements of the application appear misplaced or distorted.
*  When previewing, content is distorted.
*  The published output is distorted or doesn't display correctly.
*  Annotations are misplaced.
*  Lengthy slide notes won't scroll when recording narration.
*  Your logo doesn't display correctly.
To resolve these issues, change your system's DPI to 96. Here's how.
If that doesn't seem to resolve it, any chance you could post a screenshot so we can get an idea of what you're seeing?
Thanks!

Thanks for checking that, Lorne.

Any chance we can take a look at your project files?

First, create an Articulate Presenter Package of your presentation as described here. Then upload the resulting zip file from your computer on the second page of this form, and we''ll attempt to diagnose what's happening when we receive your upload.

Thanks!
