Publishing for ipad
Jul 29, 2014
Hi, we use Cornerstone as an LMS and I've been playing with the ipad application and I have to say, I really like it. The only problem is that it doesn't seem to report back to the LMS at all when it is finished.
Is there something I should be doing in the publish to ensure it reports to the LMS? I've tried both with and without a launch page, and I've also tried adding an exit button (which doesn't show in the Articulate Player app so I'm pretty sure it wasn't the answer!)
Any help would be much appreciated. This could potentially be a game changer for us if we can get it to work.

The player app currently only supports tracking via TinCan. See some info here. The link discusses Storyline, but it's the same player app.
I think I know the answer to this now. Cornerstone does not fully support TInCan API and therefore wont report as requested. The only way to do this would be to not publish for the app, so that the ipad picks up the HTML5 version within the LMS and works through that instead.
Am I close?!
Yes. That's what I do for our one LMS that is set up for tracking. The vendor doesn't support Tin Can, so I use the Include HTML5 Output to track for mobile devices.
