republish course created in older version to work with new flash

I am trying to take several courses created with an older version of articulate, which was published for flash 9 or lower and update it to play with Flash 10 or higher. I tried republishing it with Presenter 09, but that doesn't seem to make a difference. The presentations still load with the blank screen that says i'm on slide 100 of 106 - the error we always see when someone is using the wrong version of flash to play the file.

 I researched and saw that there was an updater for old versions to make them compaitble with flash 10, but I can't use the updater, presumably because i no longer have that older version of Presenter.

Does anyone have any suggestions short of recreating everything?
