Lately I've been having trouble with courses with animated shapes that work fine in PowerPoint but when I preview them in Articulate the shapes are just sitting there and only the text animates. I checked the list of non supported animation and it says that zoom in and out are supported. I then delete, recreate the shapes and re-animate and they work fine.
It's hard to say what the problem could be without taking a closer look at your files. I would suggest submitting a support case and including your original file.
