I am having a problem in Studio 13 (Presenter) when I publish to the web and run the training in Internet Explorer (IE). The YouTube videos I have attached to a web object do not run; they show only a black screen (no visual or sound). However, they do run in Chrome. When I used the videos in Storyline, they worked in IE and Chrome. An example of the web address being used is https://www.youtube.com/embed/TsFv4DiPKFg?autoplay=1. Note, the link does 'test' successfully. Any help is appreciated!
Sorry you're hitting that roadblock with your web objects in Internet Explorer! Can you share your project file here as an Articulate Package so I can take a closer look and do some testing?
Yes, I do see the videos playing. That is great news that the web objects and address information are correctly attached ...now I just need to figure out why they won't play through my IE. Any ideas? I'll re-publish and try it again too. Thanks -M
Where are you uploading your published output to test it? If you're viewing it locally on your computer rather than uploading it to the web, that can cause features to fail.
Tempshare is a free and easy way to test it out right on the web.
I've been uploading it to the web through our local SharePoint site to test it. I'll keep testing and let you know. Thank you again for your time and assistance!
Hi Ali -I think we've discovered that our division-wide IE settings are blocking this content from running within the training. Grrrrrrr. I'll keep you posted, but I believe we're on our way to a fix... or work-around. Thank you again for your time and assistance. You definitely helped me narrow down the problem. -Mindy

You can add it right to a comment here like this:
Thanks!
Great, thank you Ali. There are web objects in slides 14, 19, 24 and 30.
Hey Merinda,
Thanks for sharing your file with me!
I published it and uploaded the published output to Tempshare to test it on the web. Your web objects on the slides mentioned play for me in IE 11.
Take a look at it here and let me know if you see the videos playing.
