swf video won't start until I move the scrubber

I am loading a swf onto a slide and showing it in the slide.  The video won't start on its own but if I drag the scrubber a little it will begin playing and continue playing on its own.  If I just click on the video locally it calls up the Adobe Flash Player 10 but will not start until I click Control > Play

Any ideas on how to get this video to start playing when the slide opens?
