But when I publish in presenter, the functionality is gone.
Why?
Is there any other way of making a button (object in PPT) to open/close a popup window (another object in PPT) and make it work when published to web/LMS?
Yeah, sorry, that doesn't seem to be compatibile. But see if this cool idea is something you'd want to use for a similar effect. Hope that works for you!
Cool, glad to hear your project is moving forward nicely And Thanks for asking about Articulate Studio '12. It's currently in development and will soon enter beta testing. Our policy is not to discuss upcoming features and we don't have a confirmed launch date yet, but If you'd like to participate in the beta, you can send your request to beta@articulate.com, and the beta administrator will contact you with instructions.
In the meantime, you can preview some of the new features in Studio '12 here.
We'd be happy to connect you with your Account Representative if you have additional purchasing questions.
So, has anyone figured out why PowerPoint triggers won't work and developed a work around? I just tried and they're not working for me either. I know they're in Storyline, but I can't purchase that. So, I'm stuck with PowerPoint.
I want to use 4 different pictures and 4 corresponding text boxes on a single slide...allow learners to click a picture to see the text box. I've got it working in PowerPoint, but it doesn't work when published, even when loaded on a remote server. Kind of like the Engage tabs interaction...but I can't use something other than the tabs (pictures).
Any ideas? Sure, I could do branching to single slides...that's what I've got now. But, it's just not a really elegant solution.

Hello, Rebecca!
Unfortunately, there is no easy way to deal with unsupported triggers in Articulate Presenter'09. May be triggers will be supported in Studio'13. May be not.

Hi Peter,
Thank you very much for the link to tutorial by Jeanette Brooks.
And for a fast reply.
We ended up doing something like the tutorial for our pilot, but got new inspiration for the draft version.
Will triggers be on the news for Articulate Studio '12?

Studio does not support triggers in powerpoint
Could you use one of the engage interactions like the labelled graphic?
Hmmm...I'll try. Thanks for the response.
