upgrade

If I "upgrade" to the new software and have the serial keys needed from the '09 version, will I have to have the previous version loaded on my machine at the time of the upgrade installation? I have recently upgraded my PC and the '09 version is not compatible, which is why we need the new version. So though I have purchased the previous version of Articulate, it is impossible to load it onto my new PC. Is the upgrade going to work, or will I need to purchase a whole new edition?
Thanks!

Hi Tom and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
Are you asking about Studio '13? This is another product and your Studio '09 key would not work for this version. When you do upgrade, you cannot have both versions loaded on the same machine.
If you need to contact sales with your issue, you can do so here for further assistance in sorting this out
Yes. Studio 13. If I load 13 on my machine can I use my keys from 09 to upgrade to the new version? I do not have the old version on this system. .
Hi Tom! You can download the free trial of Studio '13 if you'd like, which can be found here, but you would need to purchase the new product to have the license.
