Video in Presenter Panel w/presentation displaying (RB)

Feb 18, 2011

Ok, I am sure this has been asked many times, but here it goes again.

I need to be able to show a person who will be talking about a topic in the presenter panel. This part will be video taped and then placed in the presenter panel using the insert flash movie option. As the person talks, I will have their powerpoint presentation displaying. I want their presentation to advance as they discuss each slide.  What is the best way to make this happen? How can I ensure that the slides will advance at the correct time as the person is talking?

Please help. If Articulate is not the best option for this, what are some choices?

Thanks!

Hi Rhona,

First, you'll need to sync your video by using the method in the link below:

Then, as noted in the article in the link below, you'll need to add the video into the "logo" panel instead of the presenter panel. This allows the video to play across multiple slides:

Keep in mind that the video will need to be in SWF format.  Thus, you may need to use a program like FormatFactory to convert the video into SWF format.
