Videos not showing up online is Camtasia the problem

Jul 28, 2015

Hi,

I've imported a number of videos that I produced and published as mp4 in Camtasia of screen shots. For some reason they are not showing up on the server when the course is published to it. They do show in the browser when previewing the course with the player. The IT department is thinking the problem is because we used Camtasia to produce the videos, I'm not sure becasue they were published as mp4 videos so I would think it would all be the same. Can you tell me if you've heard of problems with videos showing up on the server that were produced in Camtasia or if you think this is even related.  In other courses I used Snagit which is made by the same company and these uploaded to the server in the course just fine.

Thanks,

I will pass this information onto the IT people however older courses that have mp4 videos in the courses show the videos on the servere just fine. The older courses were made in Articulate 09 but these new courses were made in Artiuclate 13.

Is there something about Artiuclate 13 that could be causing this problem?

Oh, now I see you also commented in that other thread - whoops. :)

If they're not playing as a whole, and you've already checked into those other elements, have you tried on a different server entirely? That'll help determine where the disconnect is occurring. You could try one of the options mentioned in this article. If you continue to have difficulty we'll want to take a look at your Presenter package.
