View presentation not working following publishing of learning module.
I must first apologize for asking for help on an issue that has been discussed many times over. However, I read through all the solutions to correct the presentation button not working issue, and applied all options. Unfortunately the view presentation button does not work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice, cleared articulate temp files, made sure my presentation was on the source drive, as well as some other things I came up with. By the way, a little history on this issue...everything worked perfectly 2 days ago! Hmm?
please help if you could. Thx David

Hello again. I believe I am getting closer to figuring out why my presentation will not launch. I receive the following error: "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel."
Has anyone else experienced such an issue?
Hi David!
Perhaps you are publishing utilizing a different method.
We actually advise testing your published content in the intended published environment as explained in this tutorial.
Thanks Leslie. Up till a few days ago all was working well. I am going to post to our intranet site at work so I published as Web a few days back. When I viewed presentation it worked. Yesterday things stopped working. No files were move, nothing. I went into the folder named "player" clicked on the player and see that the file is associated with Acrobat, not Internet explorer. I'm thinking that might be where my issue lies. Have you heard of this before as being a launch issue?
Interesting David. Sounds like a setting may have changed on your machine. Are you able to right click and choose to open differently? I must reiterate, this is still not the best method of verification :)
Hi Leslie,
It appears HTML was associated with Acrobat and not IE. I was able to change the default back to IE and now the view presentation button works. I'm not sure how this got changed to begin with but at least it's working. Thank you for you help.
David
Glad to hear it David. Thanks for the update :)
