I finished publishing the first draft of the e learning using Studio '13 but it turns out very slow. I guess it has something to do with the graphic elements i put in e.g. pictures . Need some recommendation about the graphic; what should or shouldn't to avoid slow elearning
Hi Patinya! Sorry you're running into this slow down. Is it possible that your file is stored somewhere other than your local C: drive? Working from a network drive or a USB drive can cause a few different problems, and you can read more about that here.
Also, can you tell me more about how you published the file?
Did you publish for Web or LMS?
Where did you host the published content to test it?
Hi Alyssa, I publish for LMS and host it in the company's sharepoint but it runs slowly from within the local drive c:. I've attached my PC spec which i think is enough to run this smoothly. So my guess turns to whether i put too many graphic elements so it takes time to process or not. I want to show my work but my company doesn't allow access to file-hosting website. So if it has less to do with the graphic elements and it's necessary to see the real work, i'll later upload my work
SCORM Cloud is a handy (and free!) tool you can use to test content published for LMS. We like to use it to compare the behavior to your LMS experience to try to parse out file issues versus LMS issues. I am happy to help you with that testing if you'd like to share your file!

Thank you for your help Leslie. OK, if this is not considered slow, it is from my comparison with other courses in my company or other courses I've seen. When i move from 1 slide to another in my course, the loading cursor pop-up every time and it takes a bit longer compared to others. If you assure that it's normal, I feel relieved
That's quite surprising to me. This is the recording of what appear on my screen using the link you gave. Still i experience time lag . Is it possible that there's difference in a setup after uploading on SCORM ?

Hi Patinya,
Thanks for those details. When you publish for LMS, you'll want to test the published file in an LMS, since testing the content locally can cause issues.

Hi Patinya!
I'm not seeing any delays or slowness in your published course. Check out my published link here and let me know what you observe.

I recorded a brief Peek video to show what I see when viewing your course. I'm not seeing any loading pop-ups.

Hey Patinya! If you're seeing that using my link, it should not be the upload. It looks more like a difference in connectivity perhaps?
