Working between versions

Good morning, I created a presentation for a client in Studio '13. I found later that they have Presenter 09. Unfortunately I have to recreate it now in 09 because of the incompatibility between the two. Problem is, no matter how or where I save mt PPT file, the 2013 associated Articulate files try to open when all I want is my PPT presentation. The individual who has the original PPT file is not available. How can I remove the Articulate files? Thanks very much.;

HI, I might also add that I copied the presentation directly to my desktop as a standalone file. While it doesn't associate the 2013 Articulate files, it just hangs up. When I try to add video it stalls and creates several files on my desktop that appears to be written with Chinese symbols(?). I have to ctrl/altdel to close. I am stumped - thanks.
Hi James!
We do not recommend nor support having both versions of Studio on one machine.
In addition, Articulate Studio '09 is not supported with Microsoft Office 2013.
