No matter what I do, Artie keeps flipping "si" (French for "if") into "is" when I work in French. I have gone into player templates and picked a French template and have ensured that the Labels in French option is active. Still, nothing. Any advice?
When you selected the French language in the Template menu, that changed the labels in the course template (which has no impact on your content), however, all the rest of the content came from PowerPoint and was imported into Articulate when you published.
So now the questions are:
What language is your computers operating system using?
What language is PowerPoint using?
What Language is Articulate using?
If all the answers above are French, you can check one last item...
In your published output, open the player.html file (using an html editor, or notepad.exe) and look for the following line:
charset=utf-8 means it is being published using international character support (French and Canadian French are supported in this scheme).
If everything is looking like it should work in French at this point, then your issue is due to the process your friend suggested (which sounds like you are editing source code from your description "I Write it then use the cursors to change...don't use space bar".

I don't even know how to figure that out. A colleague suggested I write it then use the cursors to change...don't use space bar. That failed, too.

It utrns out my auto-correct was on. We turned that off and all is now well. Thanks to all who helped.
