I also put the narration in the notes and show the user how to access the Notes tab (and how to turn off the sound). I use a lot of Captivate movies for simulations and for those I use the Closed Captions and once again, tell the user how to pull up the captions.

I usually put the narration text in the ppt notes.
In one course i made a PDF with the text and insert it in Presenter as an attachement.
