"After attempting Quiz" option not working?

hi there.
I have a course that is locked down. I have Quizmaker questions thorughout the course. They are set to the following parameters in the Properties
When user passes, ’Finish’ button Goes to Next Slide
When user fails, ’Finish’ button Goes to Next Slide
Allow user to leave quiz At any time
User may view slides after quiz After attempting quiz
User may attempt quiz Just once
The problem is that I'm able to click the Forward button on the question without attempting it, even though I have the After attempting quiz option selected! I want to allow the user to be able to skip the question if they decide to go back thorugh the course and not force them to do the question again, this is why I have selected "At any time" in Allow user to leave the quiz.
Is there something I'm doing wrong here?

Sorry if I'm not understanding exactly what you'd like to do, but if you want your users to have to answer every question without being able to skip through them, have you considered setting your Player Template to Submit one question at a time?
