Printing results from quizmaker
Nov 08, 2011
I have recently created some test quizes and published as a .html file. I have then saved these files in a shared folder for my users to test - I eventually would like to host the web page on our intranet.
My issue is that when my test users are viewing their results they can select to print their results and enter their name but then nothing happens - No print out.
The same happens for e-mailing results - nothing happens when selecting the option. Alll the required boxes are ticked when I have created the quiz.
Does anyone have any ideas why this is so?

Welcome to Heroes, Louise!
You'll want to test the quizzes on your intranet via a valid http address. Those particular functions won't work offline due to security restrictions.
Give it a try and let me know if it works. Good luck!
Peter when you say those functions won't work offline, does that mean publishing a storyline file on a network folder will not allow other users to go into the folder, launch the presentation, take the quiz and then finally (most importantly) print the quiz results?
Hi Travis,
It sounds like you'll want to explore the publish for CD option and have your users launch the .exe file, which should still allow you to use the print results feature. You'll want to test it in your environment first and ensure it functions properly before launching it for others.
