Question re: audio features in Quizmaker

Jan 30, 2012

I am looking at a Quiz created in Quizmaker by a coworker and want to know what .wav file she used, but I cannot seem to find where to do this. I can find where to import more audio, but can I look at the current audio somewhere in Quizmaker so I can locate the file name?

Thanks

Hi Joy,

It looks like on your first screenshot, you'll want to follow the directions for Exporting Audio from Feedback:

  1. Open your quiz in Quizmaker ’09.
  2. Double-click the question from which you wish to export audio.
  3. Click the More button beside the Feedback response that contains the audio you wish to export.
  4. From the Audio section of the Feedback dialog, click the Edit audio button.
  5. When the Audio Editor opens, click the round Articulate button in the upper left corner.
  6. Select Export.
  7. Browse to the location where you wish to store your exported audio.
  8. Assign a File name to the audio file.
  9. Use the Save as type drop-down list to select one of the following audio formats for your exported audio:
    • Both WAV and MP3
    • MP3
    • WAV
  10. Click the Save button.

And on your second screenshot, there doesn't seem to be any audio to export on that particular slide. Are you sure that slide contains audio?

Happy to help, Joy
I think you'll find some really useful information on importing quality audio in this discussion from an older thread:
And there are also third party tools that you can use to increase the quality of your audio. Here are some articles and tutorials to help you out:
