Quizmaker and Engage will not open in Win7
Aug 08, 2011
Trying to use Quizmaker and Engage from Studio Pro 9 in Win 7 Virtual Machine (VM FUSION) on a iMac. It has worked fine in the XP VM but having uninstalled that version. Presenter working fine after I'd added the Studio Pro serial number, but Quizmaker and Engage not working. Loaded Adobe Flash update for windows.
Help, need this to be working very soon.

Hi Bruce and welcome to Heroes,
Did you receive any errors during the installation process like "invalid" drive? If so, you can resolve the issue by using the method below:
This issue usually occurs because your "shell folders" are setup incorrectly. You can resolve the issue by following the instructions here:
http://www.luisrocha.net/2009/04/error-1327-invalid-drive-when.html
1. Run regedit.exe
2. Locate the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
3. Click on File, Export and save this key to your desktop.
4. Change all entries that uses your mapped drive (L: in this case) to the default one (%USERPROFILE%).
5. Now, reinstall the Articulate software
6. After installation completes, restore your User Shell Folders registry info by double clicking on the file saved on step #3.

If you continue to have problems, did you install the latest version of the Articulate Studio '09 software or are you using an old installation file?
