We've been working with Articulate for a few weeks now and have generally had a trouble free time with it.
However, recently we've been having some problems. We're creating alternate versions of a suite of 12 presentations with minor country-level changes. Our process has been to copy all of the relevant files from each presentation into a separate folder and rename. When relinking the Engage files using 'Add existing' it works fine, but the same process with Quizmaker crashes PowerPoint.
I've tried repairing, installing the latest update and reinstalling VTSO. Nothing works. We're using PowerPoint 2007.
Instead of copying into a new folder and renaming, I'd look at opening each as is, and doing a save as - to ensure that the original links from Presenter to Quizmaker and Engage are still intact. You can read more here about how the files are stored, but moving them out of the folder could be what is causing the current issue you've run into. You'll also want to confirm that you're working with local project files as described here, working off a network drive or shared drive could create corruption issues within the files.
Thanks Dave - these files may already be disassociated with one another if you've already moved it - so to confirm I'd look at testing it in a brand new file to ensure it's working as expected. If you need anything else please let us know.
