Using branching and then re-answering a question

Dec 14, 2011

I'm trying to allow users to re-answer an incorrect question while using branching.

If the learner answers incorrectly, they will be branched back a slide. When they move forward, I would like the learner to re-answer the question, but I'm having a hard time with that.

Please note: I understand how to branch. What I need is help allowing a learner to re-answer the question.

Welcome to Heroes, Becky!

In order to allow your quiz to be attempted a specified number of times, you need to enable the resume feature in Quizmaker. Here’s how:

  1. Open your quiz using Edit in Quizmaker.
  2. Click on Player Templates.
  3. Click the Edit button.
  4. Click the Navigation tab.
  5. Under the Resume section, check the Prompt to resume on Quiz Restart (also check the Ignore Flash Cookie options if your quiz is used in an LMS).
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Close.
  8. Click Save and return to Presenter.
  9. On the slide that contains your newly inserted quiz, click Properties and change the number of attempts.
