Having looked at the Articulate discussion posts about hiding your cursor in Replay, I've come to the conclusion that hiding your cursor is not an option. Can we submit something to get this as a feature in the next upgrade? Seems like a simple thing to provide.
Thanks for the idea, Camryn! I can definitely understand why an option to remove the cursor would be handy. I’ll share your suggestion with our development team! You're also welcome to submit a feature request, if you'd like. And in case you're wondering, here's what we do with all of the ideas we receive from the community.
We're continuously exploring new features, and customer input is extremely valuable in that process. Thanks for letting us know what you'd like to see!
ugh I'm super bummed that I can't hide the mouse - this is the first time I tried using Replay, thinking it would be a quick tool for recording a presentation - but my mouse wasn't even in the recording window & there's a mouse in the entire Reply project that I can't select to move or remove it. I've submitted a feature request, but this means I can't use replay for my project & I've wasted a couple hours. :(
Thanks for submitting that feature request and I'm glad you found this conversation to share your thoughts.
I'm unable to replicate the issue when having the mouse cursor outside of the recording window. I'm curious about what the DPI on your computer is currently set to?
Not sure if it’s really relevant, but here’s my display settings. Windows 10, on a laptop, scale 175%, 3840x2160 (recommended). If I scale to 100%, I can’t read anything, and if I choose other resolutions, they’re not the right proportions for the screen or everything’s ginormous. I used a region screen capture of a PowerPoint presentation in “Presenter View” (because I only have one screen & needed to see my notes). My mouse was outside the capture region the entire time, clicking the “next” icon in the presenter view, but it shows up in the middle of my slides, obscuring content, in the Relay capture. 😊

Now THAT'S interesting!
I want the cursor and I haven't got one. Any ideas why that might be?
Hey Bryan! Let's see if we can nail down why your cursor has gone missing:
Thanks for the response Alyssa.
You have solved my problem
I am using Replay 360 and I did see the cursor while I was recording, but I was not using 96DPI.
Thanks, Bryan
Did the development team consider the cursor removal feature? I'd also like an option to switch it on and off.
Hello Hugh!
Currently, there isn't a way to remove the cursor in Replay. I'll keep an eye out for other requests and see where momentum is around this option!
We'd love to hear more about how removing the cursor could help. Care to share more thoughts below?
