Webcams come in all shapes and sizes. I've got an HD one from logitec for under 30 euros. Much better then the default one in my laptop.
Alternatively you could use an actual camera (I'm sure I've got one laying about somewhere) and just add the video file afterward. The trick is getting the timing right if you want it in addition to narrate your screen. But for stand alone video that should be no problem.
One trick I found was to clap 2 or 3 times. This puts spikes on the audio stream and can help line up all the different components.
I did learn the hard way that any audio sources that are further away you have to allow for the time it takes sound to travel (I got an echo in a room that was only 10m long)
Hi V C- Thanks for sharing those tips! This thread is a bit dated so Jeff may not still be subscribed but you can also reach out to him by using the "Contact Me" feature in his profile.

Hi Bruno,
It may depend on whether or not your other camera is read as a webcam and shows up in the list of cameras in Replay.
In the "Select Webcam" drop-down, are you able to choose a different camera?

Great idea Jeff.
