Using Replay to trim a webinar

I am needing to trim the front and back of some recorded webinars to be used for replay and have been told that I can use Replay to do that.  When I import an MP4 recording only the audio shows.  When I import a WMA file the audio does not come through clear.  Am I doing something wrong?  Is there a better way to do this?  Thanks...
