Trimming the end of a video using Replay

Jun 24, 2014

Hi,

I want to be able to do is trim the last few seconds off from a video clip.

I have imported the mp4 file into Replay, and looked through the tutorials and the Replay menus but can't find how to do this - can you help?

I have Presenter 13 (not Storyline), but don't want to edit it in that, I just want to shorten the length of the video itself to use in another file.

Thank you!

Lindsey

Hi Lindsey,

You can drag the left or right edge of a video or sound clip to change its duration. This actually trims or truncates the clip. This can be useful if you need to remove the beginning or the end of a clip.

You should be able to drag that edge to the point of the video where you'd like it to end (from the right). That should cut the few seconds off of the end of the video that you'd like to remove.

Let us know if you have any trouble with this, or any questions.

Thanks and have a great day!
