Adding multiple questions using this method

Hi all
I have made a demo video using the method described here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1qptHuxNmk
It works great!
Until you want to add another question at another point in the timeline. because the offscreen marker stops the media but not the timeline, the second question pops up on the timeline a) before the user has answered the first question, and b) out of sync with the next point on this video.
Is there any way to pause the whole timeline without using lightbox or creating a duplicate layer? I'd really like to keep the look and feel.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
Dani

Yes It is just keep adding rectangles and hot spots. I have uploaded a file so you can see mine with two spots.
Hi Kevin
Thanks for that !!! Unfortunately......it looks like you did exactly what I did and got exactly the same result!
Pause spot 2 comes up regardless of whether pause spot 1 has been answered (try watching it and not clicking anything and you'll see what my issue is)

Your right you have to add a layer with nothing on it. Here it is fixed go into the layer and click on the properties to see how I did it
I think the answer is to click "Pause timeline of base layer" on properties, then both of our methods will work!
Yes you have to pause the timeline when your layer starts.
